Guardian Angels, a Morrisville-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities through health, dignity, and compassion, is happy to announce a new partnership with Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley (JFS SV). This collaboration will focus on serving refugee families in the Bay Area through a Healthy Women Campaign, addressing critical health and hygiene needs among recently resettled refugee women.

This initiative combines Guardian Angels’ extensive experience in health-focused outreach with JFS SV’s trusted leadership in refugee resettlement and community integration. Together, the two organizations aim to distribute comprehensive health and hygiene kits, offer educational workshops, and establish supportive networks that promote long-term well-being and dignity for refugee women as they navigate new lives in the Bay Area.

“We are deeply honored to join hands with Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley,” said Shilpa Macwana, Founder of Guardian Angels. “This partnership embodies our shared commitment to uphold the dignity of every woman and family, especially refugee women who have faced unimaginable hardship and are now striving to rebuild their lives here. By working together, from coast to coast, we can create healthier futures and stronger communities.”

The Healthy Women Campaign will launch this summer with a series of community gatherings and distribution events at JFS SV inviting local volunteers and supporters to be part of this compassionate mission.

“Empowering refugee women with the resources and knowledge they need is vital to their health and successful resettlement,” said Debbie Michael, VP of Development and Community Engagement at JFS SV. “We are truly honored to partner with Guardian Angels, whose heart for service and community spirit will help us reach even more families in need.”

Guardian Angels invites individuals, faith communities, and businesses to partner in this life-changing work.

In August, Guardian Angels will lead the Healthy Women Campaign donation drive at the Morrisville location, collecting menstrual supplies to support refugee centers, domestic violence shelters, and homeless shelters throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.
